Faustino Aguilar Scholarship Study Grant

Effective 2nd semester, AY 2017-2018.

Qualifications

1. belongs to a needy family whose annual gross income does not exceed P100,000.00
2. has not been subject to disciplinary action of any kind
3. is a natural born citizen of the Philippines
4. has obtained an average grade of “2.50” or better during the semester immediately preceding the application
5. has no grade of “5.00” nor has he obtained a grade of “4.00” or “inc” which has not yet been removed at the time application

Benefit

1. P3,000 per semester

Scholarship Program For Foreign Students

First semester, 2018-2019

Qualifications

1. Must have a general weighted average of “1.75”; must be nominated by their home government; with good moral character
2. Open to graduate foreign students from countries with which the Philippines has diplomatic relations with preference to those from Africa and Third World countries in Asia and the Pacific

Commonwealth Foods, Inc. Scholarship

Second semester, 2017-2018

Qualifications

1. Must belong to top 20% of graduating class
2. Must be financially deserving (TD 60%, 80%, FD)
3. Must be entering freshmen

Filipino American Military Medical Officers Society (Fammos) Scholarship

Second semester, 2017-2018

Qualifications

1. must be enrolled in at least 15 units at the time of the award of the grant
2. if an entering freshman, must have passed the UPCAT; if sophomore and above, must have obtained an average of “2.5” or better and must have carried a load of at least 15 units with no grade of “5.00” or unremoved “4.00” or “inc.” in the semester immediately preceding the application
3. Priority shall be given to descendants of enlisted personnel on a first-come-first-served basis and those orphaned by one or both parents; otherwise, non-descendants shall be considered
4. The Scholarship award shall be for any financially needy student (parent’s annual gross income must not exceed P350,000.00) who can prove descent from any active or veteran members (deceased or alive) of the Armed Forces of the Philippines

Qualifications

1. for Junior and Senior students, must have an average of at least "2.5" or better in the previous semester with no grade of "5.0" or "incomplete"
2. for freshman, must have qualified for admission in the University of the Philippines by passing the UPCAT

Madrono And Donato V. Abis Memorial Foundation Scholarship For B.S. Chemistry Students

Effective 2nd semester, AY 2017-2018. An applicant for the scholarship must be a FRESHMAN student who has the following qualifications:

Qualifications

1. Must not have been subject to disciplinary action.
2. Must have qualified for admission in the Chemistry program;
3. Must not be enjoying any other scholarships or financial assistance;
4. Must be financially needy; A student is financially needy if his/her financial situation qualifies him/her for STFAP Bracket 7 or lower;

Benefit

1. Actual interest earnings of the scholarship fund but not to exceed P5,000 per semester.

Presidential Leadership Grant

First semester, 2018-2019

Qualifications

1. Open to Filipino students who have potential for leadership as shown in membership in student councils, organizations, debates, clubs, etc.
2. must have a general weighted of “2.75” for undergraduate and “1.75” for graduate

1. Free school fees except student fund (Graduate)
2. Monthly stipend of P2,000.00 for undergraduate, P2,500.00 for Master’s
3. semestral book allowance of P2,000.00 for undergraduate and P3,000.00 for graduate
4. thesis allowance of P5,000.00 for Master’s

Coca-Cola Foundation, Inc. Scholarship

Effective 2nd semester, AY 2017-2018

Qualifications

1. Must not be a recipient of any other scholarship that will make the combined monthly stipend more than P5,000.00
2. Must not have been found guilty of participating in any violent incident such as hazing and/or fraternity rumbles, whether on campus or off campus
3. Must study on a full time basis and must carry the normal load
4. Must have obtained a general weighted average of at least "2.50" during the semester immediately preceding the application with no grade of "5.00" or unremoved grade of "4.00" or "Inc."
5. Must not have been found guilty of cheating or committing any act of misconduct
6. Must be a 3rd year BS Elementary Education student
7. Must be financially deserving. A student is financially deserving if his/her financial situation qualifies him/her for STFAP Bracket 7 or lower
8. Must be a Filipino citizen

Benefit

1. Interest earnings of the fund, not exceeding P37,000.00 per year

Carlos Palanca Foundation Scholarship

Effective 2nd semester, AY 2017-2018

Qualifications

1. Must be enrolled in B.A. Malikhaing Pagsulat, B.A. Araling Filipino major in MalikhaingPagsulat or Creative Writing at U.P. Diliman or U.P Mindanao, or any other U.P. campus where the degree of Bachelor of Arts, major in Creative Writing/MalikhaingPagsulat is offered
2. Must be inclined towards literature as supported by literary works submitted to the screening committee
3. Must not have been the subject of disciplinary action by the University of the Philippines
4. Must belong to underprivileged family with parents’ annual gross income of not more than P300,000.00 a year
5. Must be an incoming freshman student enrolled in UP Diliman and UP Mindanao
6. Must not be a holder of any other scholarship or financial assistance. In case he/she holds or gets another scholarship/financial assistance, the student must inform the UP Office of Scholarships and Student Services (OSSS) so that there will be no duplication of benefits
7. Must undergo and passed the UPCAT

Benefit

1. The grant consists of P39,000.00 per semester

Dr. Jose And Celestina Raymundo Scholarship Fund

Effective First Semester, AY 2017-2018.

Qualifications

1. Must be financially needy (income must not exceed P400,000).
2. Applicants must be descendants of Dr. Jose and Celestina Raymundo, as identified by the Trustee. A family tree will be provided to include the current members. Future members will be certified by birth certificates and signatures of Trustees;
3. Must have passed the UPCAT;
4. Must obtained a General Weighted Average of at least "2.00" in the semester immediately preceding application;

Effective 2nd semester, AY 2017-2018

Qualifications

1. must have good moral character and must not have been the subject of a disciplinary action worse than a 5-day class suspension
2. must have no grade of “5” and unremoved “4” or “incomplete and must have carried a regular load in the semester immediately preceding the application
3. 3rd or 4th year Journalism student
4. must be a natural-born Filipino citizen
5. must have obtained a weighted average of at least “2.0” or better

Benefits

1. Book allowance – P1,000.00/semester
2. Monthly stipend of P650.00/month
3. School fees as assessed but not to exceed P4,000.00/semester

Philippine Vending Corporation Scholarship

Effective 2nd Semester, AY 2017-2018

Qualifications

1. must not have been the subject of any disciplinary action worse than a five-day class suspension.
2. must be active in Christian work;
3. must have potentials for leadership (as evidenced by his/her extra-curricular activities rendered in the community);
4. must be financially needy (parents’ annual gross income must not exceed P325,000);
5. must be a bona fide Engineering, BS Math or BS Physics student of the University of the Philippines Diliman;
6. if an entering freshman, must have passed the UPCAT; if already enrolled, must have obtained an average of “2.5” or better and must have carried a load of at least 15 units with no grade of “5.00” or unremoved “4.00” or “incomplete” in the semester preceding the application;

1. Transportation allowance and miscellaneous expenses at P2,500 x 5 months – P12,500.00/sem.
2. Book allowance – P2,500.00/sem.
3. School fees as assessed but not to exceed – P10,000.00/sem.

Qualifications

1. Financially deserving. A student is financially deserving if his financial situation qualifies him/her for STFAP Bracket 7 (60%) or lower
2. Not the subject of disciplinary action worse than a five-day class suspension if already enrolled
3. An average of at least “2.5” or better during the immediately preceding semester with no grade of “4” or “Inc.” if already enrolled
4. A general weighted average of at least 85% in high school, if an entering freshman
5. Filipino citizen
6. The applicant must be preferably enrolled in BS Chemistry or BS Biology
