Qualifications

1. Applicant for this scholarship-study grant shall have finished the first two years of any course offered at the College of Arts and Letters and College of Education but preferably major in Filipino Language;
2. Must obtained an average of “2.50” or better during the semester immediately preceding the application;
3. Has no grade of “5.00” nor a grade of “4.00” or “Inc.” which has not yet been removed at the time of application;
4. Belongs to a needy family whose annual gross income does not exceed P100,000.00;
5. Has not been subject to disciplinary action of any kind.

Malampaya Sustainable Development Scholarship

Qualifications

1. Must be an indigent.
2. Must be of good moral character and has not been held liable in any disciplinary action;
3. Post-graduate applicants must have at least three (3) years of work experience;
4. Must not be more than 40 years of age at the time of application;
5. Must enroll or be enrolled in at least 9 units per semester for post-graduate studies and at least 18 units for bachelor degree programs;
6. Must have obtained a general weighted average of at least "2.0" for a minimum load of 15 academic units for undergraduate student, if already enrolled; for graduate student, must have obtained a general weighted average of at least "1.75" based on baccalaureate degree program, if newly admitted or for a load of at least 9 units, if already enrolled.

Qualifications

2. Must have passed all academic subjects during the semester immediately preceding the application for a load of at least 15 units. Any grade of “4.00” or “Incomplete” must be removed or completed on or before the last day of registration of the following semester;
3. Must be enrolled in at least 15 units at the time of the award of the grant unless he/she is on his/her last semester;
4. Must be financially needy (family’s annual gross income must not exceed P250,000.00);

Chinese Ambassador Partial Scholarship Grant

Qualifications

1. Must be a Filipino citizen and a bona fide minimum sophomore student enrolled in an undergraduate degree program of the College of Law, the National College of Public Administration and Governance, School of Economics or the College of Mass Communication, all of the University of the Philippines, Diliman;
2. Must not have been held liable for any disciplinary action by the University, as certified by the applicant’s dean of College.
3. Must be under PD 60%, or lower, of the Socialized Tuition Program of the University;
4. Must not be a recipient of any other scholarship grant;
5. Must be in good health (applicant must submit a medical certificate). Any student with incurable disease shall not be qualified to apply for the grant;

Qualifications

Qualifications

1. Must be enrolled in BS Architecture, BS Interior Design, BS Hotel and Restaurant & Institution Management, BS Tourism, BS Business Administration, BS Business Administration and Accountancy, and all Engineering courses except BS Chemical Engineering, BS Electronics and Communications Engineering and BS Metallurgical Engineering.
2. Must be a Filipino citizen;
3. Must be financially fir; A certification to this effect issued by a licensed physician must be submitted by the student.
4. Must be under STFAP Bracket C or lower.
5. Must be a permanent resident of the locality which he/she indicates as his/her home address. A certification by the Barangay Chairman of the locality concerned must be submitted by the student.
6. Must be of good moral character as certified by the high school guidance counselor/principal in the case of incoming freshmen, or from any appropriate school authorities, if already enrolled in the University.

Qualifications

3. Must have obtained a general weighted average of at least “2.50” during the semester immediately preceding the application with no grade of “5.00” or unremoved grade of “4.00” or “Inc.”;

5. Must not be a recipient of any other scholarship that will make the combined monthly stipend more than P5,000.00;

Qualifications

1. Must belong to underprivileged family with parents’ annual gross income of not more than P300,000.00 a year;
2. Must be an incoming freshman student;

4. Must not be a holder of any other scholarship or financial assistance. In case he/she holds or gets another scholarship/financial assistance, the student must inform the UP Office of Scholarships and Student Services (OSSS) so that there will be no duplication of benefits;
5. Must be enroll in B.A. Malikhaing Pagsulat, B.A. Araling Filipino major in Malikhaing Pagsulat or Creative Writing at U.P. Diliman or U.P Mindanao, or any other U.P. campus where the degree of Bachelor of Arts, major in Creative Writing/Malikhaing Pagsulat is offered.

Qualifications

3. Must be at least enrolled at least 15 units (undergraduate), 9 units (Graduate).
4. Non UP graduates admitted in the post graduate Degree Programs are required to have at least 9 units with a weighted average of "1.75" or better before they can apply for the scholarship.

Qualifications

1. must be minimum 2nd year regular student enrolled in any baccalaureate degree at the University of the Philippines;
2. must have earned a general weighted average of "2.75" in all courses taken;
3. must not have a final grade lower than 3.00 or a grade of "5.00" or "Inc.";
4. must be enrolled in at least 15 units;
5. must be financially needy (parents' annual gross income must not exceed P325,000.00)
6. must not held liable in any disciplinary action by the University or by the College.

Benefit

1. P15,000.00 per semester.

Sun Life Rising Stars Scholarship Program

Qualifications

1. Must be enrolled in at least 15 units at the time of the award of the grant.
2. Must not be a recipient of any scholarship or educational grant or be gainfully employed;
3. Must submit three (3) letters of recommendation from the following: 1. one from former professor or teacher within the last 3 years; 2. one from the leader of the religious sector where the student is affiliated; 3. one from the local officer, i.e., barangay captain, mayor, governor from the locality where the student permanently resides.
4. Must not have been found guilty of any disciplinary action;
5. Must be a bonafide 1st to 4th year student in BS Mathematics or BS Statistics in the University of the Philippines Diliman;
6. If an entering freshman, must have passed the UPCAT and earned a general weighted average of at least 90% during his/her senior year in high school; if already enrolled must have obtained a GWA of "2.0" or better and must have no grade of "5.00", unremoved "4.0" or "inc" or dropped/withdrawn a subject in all semesters prior to the application;
7. Must be "financially challenged" (parents' annual income from all sources must not exceed P1,000.000.00;
8. Must be a natural born Filipino citizen;
9. Must be of good moral character;

Benefits

1. School fees per semester - 100% tuition & fees;
2. Book allowance - P5,000 per semester;
3. Monthly living allowance of P7,000 x 5 months - P35,000 per semester

Dr. Jose And Celestina Raymundo Scholarship Fund

Applicants must be descendants of Dr. Jose and Celestina Raymundo, as identified by the Trustee. A family tree will be provided to include the current members. Future members will be certified by birth certificates and signatures of Trustees; must have passed the UPCAT; must obtained a General Weighted Average of at least "2.00" in the semester immediately preceding application; Must be financially needy (income must not exceed P400,000).
