Loren Legarda-Leviste Scholarship Grant

The scholarship is open to bona fide JUNIOR and SENIOR regular Broadcast Communication students. Effective First Semester, AY 2014-2015.

Qualifications

1. Must have no grade of "5" and unremoved "4" or "incomplete" and must have carried a regular load in the semester immediately preceding the application; and
2. Must have good moral character and must not have been the subject of a disciplinary action worse than a 5-dat class suspension.
3. Must have obtained a weighted average of at least "2.0" or better;
4. Must be natural-born Filipino citizen;

Benefits

1. School fees as assessed but not to exceed P4,000.00/semester
2. Book allowance 1,000.00/semester
3. Monthly stipend of P650.00/month (3,250.00/semester)

Faustino Aguilar Scholarship Study Grant

Qualifications

1. must belong to a needy family whose annual income does not exceed P100,000.00
2. Must be bona fide students enrolled at the College of Arts and Letters and College of Education but preferably major in Filipino Language;
3. Must have finished the first two years;
4. must be natural born citizens of the Philippines;
5. must have obtained an average grade of "2.50" in the preceding semester with no grade of "5.00" nor has obtained a grade of "4.00" or "Inc." which has not yet been removed at the time of application;

Philippine Vending Corporation Scholarship

Qualifications

1. Must be a bona fide Engineering, BS Math or BS Physics student of the University of the Philippines, Diliman;
2. must have passed the UPCAT;
3. must be financially needy (parents' annual gross income must not exceed P300,000);
4. must be active in Christian work;
5. must have potentials for leadership (as evidenced by his/her extra-curricular activities rendered in the community);
6. must not have been the subject of any disciplinary action worse than a five-day class suspension.

Must be a bona fide entering FRESHMAN student who graduated from U.P. Integrated School; must enroll in B.S. in Business economics, B.S. Economics and B.S. in Business Administration; must be enrolled in at least 15 units at the time of the award of the grant; must be financially needy (parents' annual gross income must not exceed P200,000.00); must submit an essay on the topic; "Why are you interested in applying for the scholarship and why do you deserve the educational award?"

Qualifications

1. must be financially needy (parents' annual gross income must not exceed P200,000); must not have been the subject of any disciplinary action worse than a five day class suspension.
2. must have qualified for admission; if already enrolled. must have a weighted average of at least "2.5" during the immediately preceding semester;
3. An applicant for the grant must be a bona fide freshman student of the University of the Philippines;

Qualifications

1. Must be a member of good standing of the BETA Sigma Fraternity who is enrolled in the University of the Philippines Diliman/Manila;
2. if an entering freshman, must have passed the UPCAT, if already enrolled, must have obtained an average grade of "2.5" or better and must have carried a load of at least 15 units with no grade of "5.00" or unremoved "4.00" or "inc." in the semester immediately preceding the application;
3. must belong to a family whose parents' annual gross income is less than P500,000.00;
4. must be enrolled in at least 15 units at the time of the award of the grant;
5. must not have been the subject of any disciplinary action.

Carlos Palanca Foundation Scholarship Program

Qualifications

1. Must be incoming freshman student;
2. Must belong to underprivileged family with parents' annual income of not more than P300,000.00 a year;
3. Must undergo and pass the UP College Admission Test (UPCAT) which is given in August each year.
4. Must not be a holder of any other scholarship or financial assistance. In case he/she holds or gets another scholarship/financial assistance, the student must inform the UP Office of Scholarship and Student Services (OSSS) so that there will be no duplication of benefits;
5. Must enroll in BA Malikhaing Pagsulat, BA Araling Filipino major in Malikhaing Pagsulat or Creative Writing at U.P. Diliman or U.P. Mindanao, or any other U.P. Campus where the degree of Bachelor of Arts, major in Creative Writing/Malikhaing Pagsulat is offered.
6. Must not have been the subject of disciplinary action by the University of the Philippines.
7. Must be inclined towards literature as supported by literary works submitted to the screening committee.

Coca-Cola Foundation Philippines, Inc. Scholarship

The grant is open to all bona fide students in the Bachelor of Science in Elementary Education program at the University of the Philippines Diliman.

Qualifications

1. must be a Filipino citizen;
2. must be financially deserving. A student is financially deserving if his/her financial situation qualifies him/her for STFAP Bracket 7 (seven) or lower;
3. must have obtained a general weighted average of at least "2.50" during the semester immediately preceding the application with no grade of "5.00" or unremoved grade of "4.00" or "Inc.";
4. must study on a full time basis and must carry the normal load;
5. must not be a recipient of any other scholarship that will make the combined monthly stipend more than P5,000.00;
6. must not have been found guilty of participating in any violent incident such as hazing and/or fraternity rumbles, whether on campus or off-campus;
7. must not have been found guilty of cheating or committing any act of misconduct.

Benefit

1. Interest earnings of the fund, not exceeding P37,000.00 per year.

Cepalco Engineering Scholarship Grant

The grant is open to all bona fide undergraduate engineering students (major in EE, ME, ECE, IE and CE) in UP Diliman. Available slot: 2 First Year students. Effective First Semester, AY 2014-2015.

Qualifications

1. must be a Filipino citizens;
2. must come or hail from Mindanao, preferably from CEPALCO's franchise area (Cagayan De Oro and nearby municipalities of Tagoloan, Jasaan, and Villanueva in Misamis Oriental);
3. must not be a recipient of any scholarship;
4. must not have been subjected to any disciplinary action involving a penalty of at least five days' suspension, or found guilty of a more serious offense;
5. must not have been found guilty of participating in any violent incident, such as hazing and/or fraternity rumbles, whether on campus or off-campus;
6. must not be related to any CEPALCO employee up to the 4th degree of consanguinity or affinity;
7. must pass the competitive examination to be administered or sanctioned by the College of Engineering Committee on Scholarships & Awards.

Benefits

1. Allowance for school fees up to P10,000.00 per semester
2. Book allowance of P3,000.00 per semester
3. Monthly stipend of P2,400.00

Megaworld Scholarship

Qualifications

1. Must not be a recipient of any other scholarship grant.
2. Must be under STFAP Bracket C or lower.
3. Must be a permanent resident of the locality which he/she indicates as his/her home address. A certification by the Barangay Chairman of the locality concerned must be submitted by the student.
4. Must be of good moral character as certified by the high school guidance counselor/principal in the case of incoming freshmen, or from any appropriate school authorities, if already enrolled in the University.
5. Must not have been found guilty of violation of any of the rules and regulations of the University, including but not limited to hazing and/or fraternity rumbles, whether on-campus or off-campus.
6. If already enrolled in the University, he/she must have obtained a general point average of at least "2.0" with no grade of "5" or unremoved grade of "4" or "incomplete" in all subjects taken and must have enrolled in not less than full load during the semester immediately preceding the application for the Scholarship Grant.
7. Must be a Filipino citizen;
8. Must be physically fit; A certification to this effect issued by a licensed physician must be submitted by the student.
9. Must be enrolled in BS Psychology
10. If an incoming freshman, must belong to the top 10% of his/her high school class with a general weighted average of at least 85% or its equivalent and without any failing grade and must obtain a grade of at least 85% in the NCAE;
