Qualification

1. Recipients must qualify for admission to the University and must be physically handicapped.

Qualification

1. The scholarship award shall be for any financially needy student (parents' annual gross income must not exceed P200,000.00) who can prove descent from any active or veteran members (deceased or alive) of the Armed Forces of the Philippines;

Qualifications

1. 1. must be a bona fide student of UP Diliman enrolled in BS Mathematics;
2. 2. must be an incoming 1st year, and must have passed the UPCAT;
3. 3. must be enrolled in at least 15 units at the time of the award of the grant;
4. 4. must be financially needy (parents’ annual gross income must not exceed P500,000);
5. 5. must not have been held liable for any disciplinary action worse than a five-day class suspension;
6. 6. must not be a recipient of any other scholarship.

Benefits

1. Tuition and miscellaneous fees as assessed but not to exceed P25,000/sem.;
2. Monthly stipend of P5,000/month

Qualifications

1. must be a bona fide Engineering, BS Math or BS Physics student of the University of the Philippines Diliman;

3. must be financially needy (parents’ annual gross income must not exceed P325,000);
4. must be active in Christian work;
5. must have potentials for leadership (as evidenced by his/her extra-curricular activities rendered in the community);
6. must not have been the subject of any disciplinary action worse than a five-day class suspension.

Qualifications

1. The applicant must be recommended by the Program Adviser through the Chairman of the Department of Mathematics.
2. Must not be a holder of any other scholarship;
3. Must be a 4th year BS Mathematics student;
4. Applicant must have passed all the subjects with an overall weighted average of at least "2.5";
5. Must be of good moral character, as evidenced by a certificate issued by the following: - Dean of Student Affairs - Dean of the College - A faculty member of the University

Student Assistance Fund For Education For Scholarship (Safe Scholarship)

Qualifications

1. Must be a Filipino citizen;
2. Must have passed the UPCAT;
3. Must be FIRST YEAR student enrolled in the following: • College of Education (2 slots) • English Studies (1 slot) • BS Mathematics (2 slots) and SECOND YEAR Engineering (5-year course) student (1 slot)
4. Must be financially needy (parents’ annual gross income must not exceed P300,000).

Benefit

1. P7,500 per semester

Coca-Cola Foundation, Inc. Scholarship

Qualifications

1. Must be a Filipino citizen enrolled in BS Elementary Education (3rd or 4th yr);
2. Must be financially deserving. A student is financially deserving if his/her financial situation qualifies him/her for STFAP Bracket 7 or lower;
3. Must have obtained a general weighted average of at least “2.50” during the semester immediately preceding the application with no grade of “5.00” or unremoved grade of “4.00” or “Inc.”;
4. Must study on a full time basis and must carry the normal load;
5. Must not be a recipient of any other scholarship that will make the combined monthly stipend more than P5,000.00;
6. Must not have been found guilty of participating in any violent incident such as hazing and/or fraternity rumbles, whether on campus or off campus;
7. Must not have been found guilty of cheating or committing any act of misconduct.

Benefit

1. Interest earnings of the fund, not exceeding P37,000.00 per year.

Dean Armando J. Malay Memorial Scholarship In Journalism

Qualifications

1. Must be a bona fide third year BA Journalism student in UP Diliman;
2. Must have obtained an average of “2.5” or better for a load of at least 15 units with no grade of “5.00” or unremoved grade of “4.00” or “Inc.” in the immediately preceding semester;
3. Must be enrolled in at least 15 units at the time of the award of the grant;
4. Must have graduated from a public school.

Benefit

1. P2,000 per semester

Carlos Palanca Foundation

Qualifications

1. Must belong to underprivileged family with parents’ annual gross income of not more than P300,000.00 a year;
2. Must be an incoming freshman student;
3. Must undergo and passed the UPCAT;
4. Must not be a holder of any other scholarship or financial assistance. In case he/she holds or gets another scholarship/financial assistance, the student must inform the UP Office of Scholarships and Student Services (OSSS) so that there will be no duplication of benefits;
5. Must be enroll in B.A. Malikhaing Pagsulat, B.A. Araling Filipino major in Malikhaing Pagsulat or Creative Writing at U.P. Diliman or U.P Mindanao, or any other U.P. campus where the degree of Bachelor of Arts, major in Creative Writing/Malikhaing Pagsulat is offered.
6. Must not have been the subject of disciplinary action by the University of the Philippines.
7. Must be inclined towards literature as supported by literary works submitted to the screening committee.

Qualifications

1. Must be a Filipino citizen residing in the Philippines for at least four (4) years prior to the grant of the scholarship;
2. Must be a bona fide student of the University of the Philippines Diliman;
3. Must have obtained an average grade of 2.00 or better and must have carried a load of at least 18 units with no grade of “5.00” or unremoved “4.00” or “inc” in the semester preceding the application;
4. Must be a 3rd year student enrolled in BS BA or BS Economics;

Qualifications

1. Admitted to the University, subject to the University of the Philippines College Admission Test;
2. Be a first year student enrolled in any degree program, at the University;
3. Be a graduate from a public high school in any of the provinces of Bataan, Bulacan, Nueva Ecija, Pampanga or Tarlac;
4. Be enrolled in at least 15 units at the time of the award of the grant;
5. Be qualified for at least tuition Partial Discount (PD) of 60% of the University's Socialized Tuition System and whose combined gross family income is not more than P350,000;
6. Not have been held liable in any disciplinary action.
