Qualification

1. Recipients must qualify for admission to the University and must be physically handicapped.

Filipino American Military Medical Officers Society (Fammos) Scholarship

Qualification

1. The scholarship award shall be for any financially needy student (parents' annual gross income must not exceed P200,000.00) who can prove descent from any active or veteran members (deceased or alive) of the Armed Forces of the Philippines;

Insular Life Foundation (Bs Math)

Qualifications

1. 1. must be a bona fide student of UP Diliman enrolled in BS Mathematics;
2. 2. must be an incoming 1st year, and must have passed the UPCAT;
3. 3. must be enrolled in at least 15 units at the time of the award of the grant;
4. 4. must be financially needy (parents’ annual gross income must not exceed P500,000);
5. 5. must not have been held liable for any disciplinary action worse than a five-day class suspension;
6. 6. must not be a recipient of any other scholarship.

Benefits

1. Tuition and miscellaneous fees as assessed but not to exceed P25,000/sem.;
2. Monthly stipend of P5,000/month
3. Transportation allowance of P50/day x 30 days x 5 months – P3,000.00

Rebisco Foundation's Financial Assistance For Tertiary Education (Fate)

Qualifications

1. must not have been held liable in any disciplinary action.
2. must be physically fit as evidenced by a Medical Certificate;
3. must be enrolled in at least 15 units at the time of the award of the grant; and
4. must be a natural born Filipino citizen;
5. must not be a recipient of any scholarship of financial assistance;
6. Must be a bona fide sophomore/junior student enrolled in any course from Business, Science and Engineering;
7. must be financially needy (parents’ annual gross income must not exceed P500,000);
8. must have obtained an average grade of 85% (equivalent to “2.09” UP grading system) or better and must have carried a load of at least 15 units with no grade of “5.00” or unremoved “4.00” or “inc” in the semester immediately preceding the application;

Benefits

1. Monthly stipend at P3,000 x 5 months – P15,000/sem.
2. School fees not exceeding – P30,000/sem.

Qualifications

1. Must be a Filipino citizen;
2. must be at least a sophomore student enrolled in the University of the Philippines Diliman;
3. must have obtained a weighted average grade of "2.00" or better and must have carried a load of at least 15 units with no grade of "5.00" or unremoved "4.00" or "INC" in the semester immediately preceding the application;
4. must be enrolled in at least 15 units at the time of the award of the grant;

Qualifications

1. Must be a Filipino citizen;
2. Must have passed the UPCAT;
3. Must be FIRST YEAR student enrolled in the following: • College of Education (2 slots) • English Studies (1 slot) • BS Mathematics (2 slots) and SECOND YEAR Engineering (5-year course) student (1 slot)
4. Must be financially needy (parents’ annual gross income must not exceed P300,000).

Augusto A. Alzona Scholarship Grant

Qualifications

1. Must be a Senior B.S. Mathematics student;
2. has completed at least 45 units in Mathematics with an average of at least “2.0” and is enrolled in at least 15 units at the time of award;
3. does not have a grade of “5.0” or unremoved grade of “4.0” or “Inc.” in the immediately preceding semester;
4. is of good moral character as evidenced by a certificate issued by any one of the following: Vice Chancellor for Student Affairs Director of Student Affairs Dean of the College, a faculty member of the University
5. is recommended by the Chairman of the Department of Mathematics

Dean Armando J. Malay Memorial Scholarship In Journalism

Qualifications

1. Must be a bona fide third year BA Journalism student in UP Diliman;
2. Must have obtained an average of “2.5” or better for a load of at least 15 units with no grade of “5.00” or unremoved grade of “4.00” or “Inc.” in the immediately preceding semester;
3. Must be enrolled in at least 15 units at the time of the award of the grant;
4. Must have graduated from a public school.

1. P2,000 per semester

Carlos Palanca Foundation

Qualifications

1. Must belong to underprivileged family with parents’ annual gross income of not more than P300,000.00 a year;
2. Must be an incoming freshman student;
3. Must undergo and passed the UPCAT;
4. Must not be a holder of any other scholarship or financial assistance. In case he/she holds or gets another scholarship/financial assistance, the student must inform the UP Office of Scholarships and Student Services (OSSS) so that there will be no duplication of benefits;
5. Must be enroll in B.A. Malikhaing Pagsulat, B.A. Araling Filipino major in Malikhaing Pagsulat or Creative Writing at U.P. Diliman or U.P Mindanao, or any other U.P. campus where the degree of Bachelor of Arts, major in Creative Writing/Malikhaing Pagsulat is offered.
6. Must not have been the subject of disciplinary action by the University of the Philippines.
7. Must be inclined towards literature as supported by literary works submitted to the screening committee.

Benefits

1. Book allowance – P4,000/semester;
2. School fees as assessed but not to exceed P20,000.00;
3. Monthly stipend (P3,000.00/mo. X 5 months) – P15,000/semester;

Qualifications

1. Must be a full-time senior student in the College of Education;
2. Must be of good moral character as evidenced by a certificate issued by any of the following: Vice-Chancellor for Student Affairs Dean of the College, a faculty member of the College
3. Must have a weighted average of at least “2.0” or better and must not have a grade of “5.00” or unremoved grade of “4.00” or “Inc” during the immediately preceding semester;
4. Must be actively involved in co-curricular activities as evidenced by supporting documents.

Tria Kerkvliet Scholarship

Qualifications

1. Admitted to the University, subject to the University of the Philippines College Admission Test;
2. Be a first year student enrolled in any degree program, at the University;
3. Be a graduate from a public high school in any of the provinces of Bataan, Bulacan, Nueva Ecija, Pampanga or Tarlac;
4. Be enrolled in at least 15 units at the time of the award of the grant;
5. Be qualified for at least tuition Partial Discount (PD) of 60% of the University's Socialized Tuition System and whose combined gross family income is not more than P350,000;
6. Not have been held liable in any disciplinary action.

Filipino American Heritage Association (Faha) Scholarship

Qualifications

1. Must be a Filipino citizen;
2. Must be enrolled in any course in Education;
3. Must have obtained a general weighted average of at least “2.50” and must have carried a load of at least 15 units with no grade of “5.00” or unremoved grade of “4.00” or “Inc.” in the semester immediately preceding the application;
4. Must be financially deserving. A student is financially deserving if his/her parents’ annual gross income qualifies him/her for STFAP Bracket 7 or lower;
5. Must not have been found guilty of violation of any of the rules and regulation of the University, including but not limited to hazing and/or fraternity rumbles, whether on campus or off-campus.
6. Must be a bona fide undergraduate student of the University of the Philippines who is at least in his/her third year;

1. Monthly stipend of P1,000 x 5 months - 5,000.00 per semester
2. Book allowance - 750.00 per sem.

Qualifications

1. must be financially needy (parents' annual gross income mus not exceed P200,000); must not have been the subject of any disciplinary action worse than a five day class suspension.
2. must have qualified for admission; if already enrolled, must have a weighted average of at least "2.5" during the immediately preceding semester;
3. An applicant for the grant must be a bona fide freshman student of the University of the Philippines;
4. must be enrolled in any four or five-year degree program and must carry a normal load of at least 15 units per semester;

Qualifications

1. must be favorably endorsed by the current Prime Sister Exemplar and President of the UP Sigma Alpha Sorority Alumnae Association.
2. a member of the UP Sigma Alpha Sorority;
3. Carries a load of at least 15 units for the current semester;
4. obtained an average grade of "2.0" or better with no grade of "5.0", unremoved "4.0" or "Inc." in the semester immediately preceding the application;
5. must be a bona fide female student of the University of the Philippines Diliman, currently enrolled in any four-year degree program;

Qualifications

1. Must be a bona fide regular Journalism student of the College of Mass Communication;
2. must have obtained a general weighted average of “2.25” or better during the semester immediately preceding the application;
3. must have no grade of “5.00” or and unremoved “4.00” or “incomplete” in the semester immediately preceding the application;
4. must be a regular student of the College during the preceding year and must have carried a normal academic load in the immediately preceding semester;
5. must be financially needy;
6. must not have been subjected to action either by the College or by the University.

2. Monthly stipend of P800 x 5 months – P4,000/semester

Applicants must be descendants of Dr. Jose and Celestina Raymundo, as identified by the Trustee. A family tree will be provided to include the current members. Future members will be certified by birth certificates and signatures of Trustees; must have passed the UPCAT; must obtained a General Weighted Average of at least "2.00" in the semester immediately preceding application; Must be financially needy (income must not exceed P400,000).
